What's Covered
Manufacturing defects under normal use are covered for the lifetime of your RAEN sunglasses or optical frames, including:
- Structural failures: Broken hinges, cracked frames, or material defects
- Lens coating issues: Peeling or delamination from manufacturing flaws
- Workmanship defects: Any failure resulting from how the product was made
Our replacement promise: We'll replace with the exact style and color when available or provide the closest current equivalent. All replacements are brand new, reflecting our commitment to premium quality.
What's Not Covered
- Cosmetic changes that don’t affect performance or function (like scuffs, minor fading, or discoloration)
- Normal wear and tear (scratches, finish fading)
- Accidental damage (drops, impacts, crushing)
- Lost or stolen frames
- Non-RAEN repairs or alterations
- Chemical damage, extreme heat exposure, or other environmental factors outside of normal conditions
- Third-party prescription lenses
Simple guideline: Manufacturing defects are covered; use-related damage is not.
Eligibility
- Original purchasers of authentic RAEN eyewear from RAEN.com or authorized U.S. retailers
- Proof of purchase may be required for verification
- Warranty is non-transferable in most cases, but some exceptions may be approved by RAEN. Gift card purchases are eligible for a warranty with valid proof of purchase.
- Valid for any frames purchased on or after January 1st, 2021
Fair Use Policy
To maintain this premium service for all customers:
- Product return and purchase verification may be required
- Multiple or suspicious claims subject to additional review
- We reserve the right to deny claims we feel are fraudulent, and could disqualify future service
- Coverage generally includes 1 replacement per frame, but if something unexpected happens, our team can review individually.
- If a product is no longer in stock or available, store discounts or a new style may be provided in lieu of a replacement.
This warranty is valid in the United States only and gives you specific legal rights. RAEN's obligation is limited to repair or replacement with equivalent value products. Incidental or consequential damages are not covered, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
All claims are governed by California state law, with disputes resolved in California courts per our Terms & Conditions.
How to File a Claim
1. Submit: Complete our Warranty Claim form (below) with detailed information
2. Review: Our team will review and typically responds within 3 business days
3. Ship: If needed, we'll provide a pre-paid shipping label for inspection
4. Replace: Approved replacements ship within 7 business days
