Great frames; frame colors are misleading

"These are really great frames and fit face and noggin perfectly. I do love them. I got the Rifka Sante Fe Tortoise color. My only gripe is that this is the second pair of Raen’s I’ve purchased where the frame color reality does not match the advertised expectation. I’m assuming the online photos are backlit with a nice white light, which highlights the frame color/pattern really well. Unfortunately, when worn, there is no backlight and the both frames I’ve purchased have been significantly darker with far less observable patterning. I still love the frames, I still wear them daily. I just wish Raen would make the effort to create a true blonde/amber tortoise that looks blonde/amber with or without backlighting."

Some of my favorite shades

"The Rifka are some of my favorite frames. I like them so much that when I recently lost my first pair, I was relieved to see they were still available and quickly ordered a replacement pair. The fit is snug but comfortable; the semi-transparent green frame color and brown lenses look great, and the frame style is just the right mix of retro and modern. Overall finish and construction are high quality, as usual for Raen. The polarized lenses are excellent and provide great clarity while reducing glare. Was a little bummed to see the glasses not ship with a hard case this time as past Raen glasses have. Not a deal breaker, but it'd be nice to include a protective case for these nice shades. Would love to see this frame in more color combos with polarized lenses. I'd buy another pair for sure. Glasses shipped quickly and arrived perfect."

Brilliant… for the most part

"I liked these so much I bought a second pair minutes after discovering my original pair was melted to my motorcycle exhaust. The second pair is identical in every way, BUT they just don’t sit on my face the same way. I took them to my Eye Dr to get adjusted, but they still sit crooked —— huge bummer. They’re amazing nonetheless. I just can’t pop for a third pair in a year."

Too small.

"You need a 19mm bridge with 57 eye and whatever temple you like (140) is good. Otherwise, you arent for larger heads...versus ANYONE, from SALT to Barton Perriera to Persol to Alba Optics to Oliver Peoples to Jacques Marie Mage and SEVERAL others (say nothing of the cheap Insta brands but we don tlike those anyone) you have a great brand and cool stuff and could take market share from those brands but you need LARGER sizes. Just sayin."

"I own over 20 pairs of sunglasses and 3 other pairs of Raens. These are the nicest shades I’ve purchased in this price range, by a large margin. I was looking for pair I could wear for riding my motorcycle that would work in a variety of light conditions. These lenses are superior to any version of tinted yellow, orange, brown.. etc. The frames are an exceptional high gloss finish, a step above your typical frame in this or higher price range. Added bonus, the free case is nicer than any offered by the other companies. Very well done Raen."
